$30 for academic hour (45 minutes)

The most advanced classical performers are most welcome.

 

Lessons are held in our home in Watertown NY. These lessons are perfect for students who plan to pursue career in opera singing or music education to higher level. Other students are also welcome to achieve higher standards of vocal performance.

Lessons are directed towards vocal improvement and broadening of the music culture to include vocal exercises for enhancement of the voice technique.

The singers will learn:

                            - to develop and advance their interpretations for classical vocal music

                            - proper singing technique to preserve and maintain their instrument (the voice)

                            - improve quality of the sound and pronunciation

                            - learn pronunciations for performances in opera languages - Italian, German, Russian, Latin and French.

 

Evgeniya Krachmarova-Sotirov was born in Bulgaria. She studied at the Varna College of Music, then in Sofia Music Academy. She attended master classes with Renata Scotto in Savona, Italy and has performed throughout Europe, Middle East and the US.
